Weeki Wachee cast off at 08:45 and motored and sailed to Vlissingen. It was a very hot day.

At Vlissingen the boat entered a canal via a lock and motored two miles to Middelburg, waiting along the way for three bridges to be opened. In a narrow waterway in Middelburg, Weeki Wachee became involved in some chaotic boating.
