The boat motored out of the harbour and across to the lock behind a large barge. After leaving the lock, she followed the dyke around and then crossed the Ijsselmeer to Lemmer.

At half-way the wind picked up and turned North Easterly, so it was possible to sail close-hauled.

It was necessary to wait for the lock before Lemmer. On arrival in Lemmer Weeki Wachee took on fuel and then tied up on the jetty in front of the marina restaurant.

Dinner on board was Matjes.
