Weeki Wachee moved on to Groningen on a cold and showery day. 16 bridges were passed through, mostly in a tight convoy. There was much joggling and temporary mooring.

The fixing of  the Bugkorb broke when Joe leant on it, so, at the outskirts of Groningen, the boat was moored and a DIY shop was visited to buy repair materials. Derek walked to a supermarket to buy cakes and Kaffee und Kuchen was enjoyed onboard.

Later, progress was delayed waiting for a bridge to open at 18:00. After passing through the final bridges and a lock Weeki Wachee arrived at Delfzijl at dusk at 21:05. The crew ate penne arabiata for dinner onboard.
