A really pleasant canal cruise in warm sunshine began at 09:17.

Weeki Wachee waited in Groningen for a bridge to open at 13:00, then passed through the town in a procession of four boats, under numerous bridges, which opened as the convoy approached. In places the town as seen from canal offered a foretaste of Amsterdam.

Cruising steadily through sheep and cattle pastures under a blue sky, through several more bridges, Weeki Wachee arrived at a good marina at Zoutkamp after 18:00. The crew went ashore for dinner in a restaurant in the village.
