A late breakfast was eaten after the rolls were collected at 08:45 then Smutje went shopping while the crew showered. Weeki Wachee was filled up with diesel and water and left the marina around 12:00 for another day of gentle canal cruising.

A wait for a bridge from 16:15 to 17:15 was used as a coffee break.

The cruise continued via Dokkum to Leeuwarden and the boat was tied up on the canal bank by a park in town. The crew explored at once, looking for facilities. While Derek made enquiries of a friendly bridge operator, the harbour master visited the boat and explained the arrangements at this unusual location. Dinner was taken onboard.
