The crew was quickly on deck at 07:00 to untie the boat to allow the neighbouring boat to leave and then to tie-up again temporarily.

Casting off at 09:20 the mainsail was set in the harbour. The wind at sea was SW, directly head-on, so the sail was dropped and the motor was used all day. The sea was choppy, but the waves were less than one meter and it was sunny, so it was decided to press on to Zeebrugge.

It was a long day. Arriving after sunset, the Weeki Wachee drew slowly into the large commercial harbour and finally tied up in the royal Belgian yacht club marina in the fading light at 10:45.
