22. Portland to Brixham

Weeki Wachee cast off at 07:00 and after rounding Portland Bill took a direct course to Brixham on slight to moderate sea. A thunderstorm loomed over Portland but Weeki Wachee kept ahead of it and arrived in Brixham in sunshine at 16:00.
The three-man crew toured the town and ate fish and chips. Shortly after they had returned to the boat, Bob, the fourth man, arrived to complete the crew. The evening was occupied with lively chatter.
