In the morning, the crew crossed again to Dartmouth town on the passenger ferry for some shopping, including buying iced cream buns for tea.

After casting off at 13:00, good speed was made round to Torquay. The sea was calm, there was no wind and it was very hot. On arrival, the buns were eaten, and then the promenade and town were toured. Various pasties for the next day’s lunch were bought. Refreshments of cider were taken at the Clocktower pub and then the crew returned to  Weeki  Wachee for a pasta dinner.
