After tanking, Weeki Wachee moved out of the harbour and through a bridge onto the Ij without any wait. She then proceeded quietly along the Noordzeekanaal to pass through Amsterdam.

Due to a strong cross wind, there was some difficulty mooring up to wait for the lock to open at the entry to the Markermeer. But then the passage through the lock was easy and Weeki Wachee sailed across the  Markermeer to Lelystad harbour under the Genoa with a following wind.

The crew enjoyed a good dinner in the marina restaurant in the evening.
