Accompanied by a strong wind and showers, Weeki Wachee made slow progress to and through Haarlem, waiting frequently for many bridges. There was an especially long wait at one small pedestrian bridge in Haarlem. After paying the Haarlem harbour master for passage through the town, Weeki Wachee moored at a chocolate cafe for Kaffee und Kuchen at 14:15.

After passing through one more bridge and a lock, the boat had to wait from 16:00 until 20:00 for the A9 motorway bridge to open. The crew was served  labskaus for dinner while waiting, and then completed the last mile to Ijmond marina.
