The crew absorbed the views over Portsmouth harbour and the Solent from the top of the Spinnaker Tower and watched intrepid abseilers descending the outside. Then a rendezvous was made with Derek’s daughter Jackie and her partner Matt, for a drink at the Old Customs House.
