After crossing the harbour on the ferry from Gosport, the crew of the Weeki Wachee decided to ascend the Spinnaker Tower.
Later they toured Old Portsmouth.

On the third day, Bob, Joe and Norbert took a ferry trip across the Solent and toured the Isle of Wight by bus and train, while Derek enjoyed a day out on the mainland with Sue.
Portsmouth is the home of the Royal Navy. Admiral Lord Nelson sailed from Portsmouth to join battle with the French fleet at Trafalgar.
On their second day in port, the crew visited Her Majesty’s Naval Base and explored Nelson’s flagship, the Victory, as well as HMS Warrior and the exhibition of the remains of the Mary Rose from the time of Henry VIII.
